Threepeat: St. Christopher’s soccer wins third-straight Prep League title

Once again, St. Christopher’s soccer program is back on top of the Prep League heap.

 

With a 1-0 victory over Collegiate and a 2-0 win over Woodberry Forest on Tuesday and Thursday respectively, the Saints wrapped up a third-straight Prep League championship. St. Christopher’s finished the regular season at 7-0-0 on the year in the Prep and 19-1-1 overall.

 

Alexander Levengood scored the game-winner in the 1-0 win over Collegiate Tuesday that clinched the Prep title for the Saints. He came into the last week of the regular season leading the league in points with nine goals and an assist on the year in five Prep League games. He’d scored 23 goals overall on the year coming into that week.

 

The Saints are the No. 1 seed in the VISAA Division I tournament set to start November 4th.
