St. Christopher’s soccer advances to VISAA State semifinals

With an incredible stoppage time midfield goal from Alexander Levengood, St. Christopher’s boys soccer is moving on to the state semifinals.

Levengood scored to put St. Chris up 4-3 after the Saints erased a 3-0 deficit to Cape Henry in Monday’s VISAA state quarterfinals. Garrett Levy, Ben Cooper and Graham Mauck scored the first three goals for St. Christopher’s, who was down 3-1 at the break before the huge second half rally.

Trent Levy assisted on Cooper’s goal that opened the second half scoring.

The Saints advance to take on Paul VI, who beat Collegiate in another quarterfinal in the state semifinals.
